Manchester City observe Chief Association title with 1-0 triumph over Chelsea





Manchester City praised their Head Association title accomplishment on Sunday, beating Chelsea 1-0 with an early objective by Julian Alvarez in the group's home finale at a sun-doused Etihad Arena.

Haaland came on as a late substitute, but he didn't beat his Premier League record of 36 goals in a single season.

"I don't have any idea what to say, I didn't want to say anything," Norway striker Haaland said. " I feel an exceptional association with the fans... 36 objectives, Chief Association prize, debut season, two finals left, not a terrible beginning."

John Stones made a stunning sliding stop after Raheem Sterling beat goalkeeper Stefan Ortega and nearly equalized in the second half.

After Sterling's near miss, Stones gave him a friendly hug, and City fans gave Sterling a standing ovation when he was replaced.
